Featuring an all-new vintage color scheme, the Kangaroo first opened at Kennywood in 1962. Riders board one of eight cars that travel counterclockwise, hopping off a small ramp that provides plenty of airtime. The Kangaroo remains and promises to be a Kennywood classic for generations to come. The Kangaroo is often regarded as a perfect "transitional ride" for children ready to tackle the big park. The Kangaroo remains a Kennywood favorite for all ages.
