The Whip: 100 Years of Memories
A beloved classic ride for all ages, the Whip celebrates its centennial anniversary in 2026! All 16 cars feature a new 100th anniversary logo. Additionally, the ride area will receive cosmetic upgrades this spring, including new fencing, paint and more.
Fun fact: the Whip has moved around several times over the years. It was first located near today's site of the Thunderbolt, then moving to what is now Steelers Country, finally arriving to its current home in Lost Kennywood in 1995.

A major milestone for a USA Today 10Best Roller Coaster! Look for an upgraded station with new gates and platform decking; a new anniversary logo on the front of the trains, audio effects in the queue and station, new signage and upgraded fencing. We've also mixed up the trains, so each car alternates between green and purple!
The Phantom's Revenge remains Pennsylvania's fastest roller coaster (85MPH) with the tallest drop (232').
