How to Get Free Ice Cream at Kennywood This Week + More Passholder News

Sunday, July 17 is National Ice Cream Day - but we can't contain the festivities to just one day! In celebration of everyone's favorite summer treat, we're giving away 4,000 total FREE ice cream cones to Season Passholders over the next eight days. In fact, we've recently announced a bunch of new Season Passholder perks and extras! Here's what you need to know:
FREE Ice Cream for Kennywood Season Passholders
The details, plain and simple (or covered with jimmies!):
- The first 500 Passholders per day from Sunday, July 17 to Sunday, July 24 to present their Season Pass card at the Pagoda will receive a FREE soft serve ice cream cone.
- All 2022 Season Passholders are eligible for this offer.
- Limit one cone per Passholder per day.

Exclusive Ride Time on the Steel Curtain, Kangaroo and More
If you didn't hear, the record-breaking Steel Curtain is back in action! We're rewarding Season Passholders with bonus exclusive ride time on Sunday, July 24 and Sunday, July 31. All Passholders are eligible. The park will open to Passholders on these dates at 10:00 a.m. for a whole extra hour of rides on the Steel Curtain, Kangaroo, Jack Rabbit and Racer.
BONUS: Silver, Gold and Platinum Passholders can share early access with one friend on these dates for only $29.99!
NEW Bring a Friend Days Announced
More news for Silver, Gold and Platinum Passholders: six new Bring a Friend Days are now available this month! Bring a Friend for just $29.99 on July 18, 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27. Eligible Passholders can stop by any ticket window or the Season Pass Processing Center to redeem.
Reminder! Silver Passholders can purchase one discounted Bring a Friend Ticket on Bring a Friend Days, while Gold and Platinum Passholders can purchase up to three discounted Bring a Friend Tickets each Bring a Friend Day.
30% Off Retail Discount
If you're a Passholder, Fridays in July are the best days to shop! All Passholders will receive 30% off all retail purchases Friday, July 22 and Friday, July 29. Remember, this cannot be combined with any other offer or discount. Get your Kangaroo merch before it's gone!
